Responsibly sourced, made in Denmark
All of our furniture is designed and crafted in Denmark, where we maintain full control over the production process. This ensures high-quality craftsmanship and reduces the environmental impact of transportation.
Our primary raw material, wood, comes from sustainably managed forests, ensuring responsible harvesting practices. We avoid exotic woods, opting instead for locally available, high-quality alternatives that achieve the same aesthetic appeal through innovative treatments and finishes.
By working with carefully selected local artisans and suppliers, we support small-scale, sustainable craftsmanship while maintaining the highest standards of durability and longevity.
Optimised for lower impact
To minimise emissions, we consolidate deliveries whenever possible, reducing unnecessary transportation. This approach lowers our carbon footprint and helps keep shipping costs manageable for our clients.
Our packaging is chosen with sustainability in mind: environmentally certified cardboard, both recyclable and sourced from sustainable production.
Paper-free by design
Simbio operates as a digitally-driven company, reducing the need for paper-based materials and unnecessary travel. Instead of printed catalogues, we offer a fully digital experience — from inspiration and customisation to ordering and customer service. This eliminates paper waste while providing a more interactive and accessible way for customers to engage with our brand.
We also reduce transportation emissions by conducting design consultations and customer support entirely through digital channels. Rather than home visits, we provide easy-to-use measurement guides, allowing customers to accurately document their space without requiring an in-person visit. This shift saves countless trips each year, making a significant difference in our overall environmental impact.
At Simbio, we reject short-lived trends in favour of timeless aesthetics and long-lasting quality. Our furniture is built to stand the test of time — reducing the need for replacements and ultimately minimising waste.
Nothing goes to waste
We continuously invest in the latest technology to optimise material usage and minimise production waste. Any wood waste generated during production is repurposed into briquettes, which are then used to heat our facilities — ensuring that nothing is discarded.
